One in four students take some of their courses online, and two-thirds do so at a public institution (Allen, Seaman, Pouline, & Straut, 2016). In early November, UMBC celebrates the 10th anniversary of National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) with a series of lunchtime conversations.
UMBC recently announced the licensing of Panopto, our new and improved screencasting platform. In honor of National Distance Learning Week, DoIT will present this lunch ‘n’ learn to support tool adoption and use. Sign-up now to learn about how Panopto could change the way you think about lecturing. Attendees will receive lunch and an assortment of new strategies to support students’ academic success. Be sure to remember your laptop for this hands-on demonstration!
