  • Silktide Academy: Training courses and videos (in-app)
  • Help Documentation and Support Requests: Select the HELP option under your user menu (the one with your name or photo in the top right) or visit https://help.silktide.com/en/ directly
  • Video Tutorials: Attached to most accessibility checks

3. Get Help accessing Silktide

  • Visit umbc.edu/request/ and select Silktide Accessibility Scanning for:
    • USER ACCOUNTS: Get access for new websites
    • TRAINING: Request upgrade after completing training
    • NEW WEBSITE: Add a website to be scanned
    • SUPPORT: Ask questions about using Silktide that Silktide support cannot help with.

Quick Troubleshooting

Can’t log in?

  • Make sure you’re at app.silktide.com
  • Try clearing your browser cache
  • Have you requested access?

Don’t see your website?

  • Submit a support request to have it added
  • Make sure you’ve been upgraded from “In Training” role

Confused about a check?

  • Watch the video tutorial attached to it
  • Check Silktide Academy for more context
  • Submit a support request with specific questions

Not sure if a fix worked?

  • Wait for the next daily scan
  • Check the “Pages” section to see if the issue count decreased
