1. Get Help Within Silktide on a Scanned Issue or Issue-related Topic
- Silktide Academy: Training courses and videos (in-app)
- Help Documentation and Support Requests: Select the HELP option under your user menu (the one with your name or photo in the top right) or visit https://help.silktide.com/en/ directly
- Video Tutorials: Attached to most accessibility checks
2. Get Help from UMBC Wiki:
- Documentation: Silktide Introduction in this section of UMBC’s Wiki
3. Get Help accessing Silktide
- Visit umbc.edu/request/ and select Silktide Accessibility Scanning for:
- USER ACCOUNTS: Get access for new websites
- TRAINING: Request upgrade after completing training
- NEW WEBSITE: Add a website to be scanned
- SUPPORT: Ask questions about using Silktide that Silktide support cannot help with.

Can’t log in?
- Make sure you’re at app.silktide.com
- Try clearing your browser cache
- Have you requested access?
Don’t see your website?
- Submit a support request to have it added
- Make sure you’ve been upgraded from “In Training” role
Confused about a check?
- Watch the video tutorial attached to it
- Check Silktide Academy for more context
- Submit a support request with specific questions
Not sure if a fix worked?
- Wait for the next daily scan
- Check the “Pages” section to see if the issue count decreased
