Are you looking to enhance your courses with video content? Do you want to learn more about how to use Yuja, UMBC's new video capture application to record lectures and share them with your students? Join us for this session where we will preview the powerful recording and sharing features of YuJa. This session will provide you with the skills to confidently create and share your media with your students, and other users. In this workshop, we will cover:

  • Recording Your Content: Learn how to use the YuJa software and browser-based  capture tool to record your screen, webcam, and audio.
  • Managing Your Media: Best practices for organizing and making media accessible, including captioning, naming, and tagging.
  • Sharing with Students: Explore the various options for sharing your recordings, including embedding media in your Blackboard courses, generating direct links, and sharing with wider audiences.
  • Ensuring Accessibility: Setting up captions and transcripts.
The session will be hosted by, Dr. Peter Ariev, Instructional Design Specialist, and Dr. Ben Amudzi, Instructional Technology Specialist.
